About your host, Mulamwah

Hey, I am Mulamwah, a comic with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I believe comedy is an excellent way to earn a living, as well as entertain. However, the most important thing that comedy does is help us discover who we truly are. I believe humour allows us to see ourselves in ways that no other art-form does, as playful children of the universe. Join me as I walk you through the fundamentals of comedy, an in-depth look at how you can use comedy to transform your life.
What we'll do

Mulamwah is one of Kenya's most revered comedians who also doubles as an actor. This lecture is a rare opportunity to learn from Kenya's best-loved comedians and hear their insights into how comedy has evolved from a centralized profession that was controlled by a few "king-makers" to now, where anyone with a mobile phone 📱 and an internet connection can make it big in the industry. This lecture best suits anyone who loves funny skits and classic comedy acts instead of political or vulgar comedy. You will learn how to break free from the crowd and build your own comedy career, how to develop a compelling comedic persona how to master delivery through timing and tempo, and how to find your place in the ever-changing world of comedy.
