  • About your host, Asaph

I have been painting from the age of 3 and it's all I've ever really known. As the years passed, I opened my own art studio to pass the skill onto other young artists, allowing them to grow beyond treating painting as merely a hobby . Now, I'm opening my doors to just about anyone interested in learning the art. Come explore the universe with me.

  • What we'll do

This is class is designed to help you learn the fundamentals of painting, from how to mix colours, stretch your canvas, and the techniques of brush strokes. Before attending the experience, I'll expect you to share a few sketches of what you can do via email ( so that I can personalise the class specifically to your needs. The purpose of the drawing is for me to understand your level of creativity and you can easily do this with a paper and pencil. Once at the location, you'll be treated to amazing reggae music by the likes of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Burning Spear to help you get into the artistic mindset. You'll also be surrounded by some of my past artworks to help you get inspiration and get your creative juices flowing. I'm a pretty fun person to be around, so come prepared to hear all my stories about how I started with painting and how my journey has been like so far.
